I would do either the sweetheart or straps. Not both. Beautiful!

@Arasewing:  I like the sweetheart neckline idea. Why do you want the straps? Is it because you feel like you need the Extra support? If not, I think the dress is visually stunning without straps. i personally don’t like the thin straps but then it’s your dress, not mine! 🙂

I love the sweetheart idea and i actually really like your strap idea and i usually dislike straps. I think it is a stunning dress!! I definitely wouldnt add any more flowers on the hip area. It is so beautiful as it and anything more than the two changes you already suggested would just take away from it. Just my opinion though!

@Arasewing:  THose straps are pretty and are barely there and do not detract from the dress. Sure the sweetheart neckline will be pretty.

But not sure I like the idea of messing with the applique flowers. Are you trying to balance the decoration on the skirt? Isn’t it purposely asymmetrical? DO YOU THINK THAT YOU KNOW MORE THAN THE DESIGNER!!!???

hahaha, kidding. But still, I wouldn’t touch the skirt.

I love the idea of the sweetheart and the straps! The straps are lovely and delicate and I totally agree with you that it helps break-up the “seaof skin”…that’s always been my preference on myself as well 🙂

I like the sweetheart neckline, but I only just saw one in action today.  Keep in mind also, I’m into a more retro look, and the sweetheart fits into that look like a glove.
