I am waiting too! Hopefully no much longer.... I know he has the ring. I will be out of town this weekend without him (he has to work) so obviously not this weekend but maybe by next weekend.

Hey! I'm J, and I'm sorta waiting. We're as of earlier this year unofficially engaged as we're planning to marry next summer, but I don't consider it (just me being super duper ol' fashioned ok?) official until I have the ring.
Hmmmm. It may be coming very soon! I have a feeling it is!!!
Just enjoy this time. It's a great time because now you're happily in love and there's no planning stress! When you do get engaged, it's going to be absolutely amazing, but then after a while you have to do the wedding planning stuff, which is so incredibly imho fun, but still work. I try to reframe this time as me having my "pre engagement glow".
Who's also got the pre-engagement glow goin' on? :)
Why not, I am surkim, and I am waiting. With plenty of amusement in the meanwhile.

Hi, I'm MariaPaz and I'm waiting too... and with mixed feelings. I actually kinda like (*weird*, I know) this anxiety, wondering when and how will it happen. And I can't stand it the rest of the time! Does this make any sense? (ummm... guess not?)
I'm definitely glowing in the pre-engagement stage. I was impatiently waiting and now honestly it's up to him, not that big of a deal to me any more either! as long as i get to cuddle in the bed with him i am good. that may not be the case in a few more years, but i'm very happy with the direction that our relationship is going and with the fact that i know that one day he'll be my husband lol... (dang how strange i said that again... wow twice in as many days, that seems like such a strange concept)
Oh I love that we are doing this... I recently jumped on the pricescope bandwagon (love all the shameless e-ring bragging and diamond info), and they do the LIW list which I thought was super cute. Everyone gets excited to creep up the list as those before them get taken off! So yup, add me too please! :-D

Hello, this is my first post and I am also waiting! I love being on this site in the mean time though! Wow I do feel like I am in an online AA meeting!
I'm pinkrokker, and I'm in the same boat as bellenga. We've agreed we're getting married in June or July 2010. But even though he's told his friends and family, I won't feel like it's official till he formally proposes. And he knows he needs to do that by 12/31/2009 if we want to make our June/July deadline. So I may not be waiting long.... I hope!
I'm DW and technically speaking I'm waiting, but I'm not very active on the waiting board, because I don't really feel like I'm waiting.... J and I only started dating when we decided we wanted to get married, and our closest friends have considered us engaged since day one. Our LDR is the only thing really preventing there being a ring on my finger.
So ... technically waiting. :)
I'm also a lady in waiting. A planning lady in waiting. unofficially, of course. There's been lots of ring talk lately, so I'm hopeful that it's coming soon. My birthday is at the end of the month, so keep your fingers (and toes) crossed for me!!
