I don’t really know what to do on facebook. I usually log in in the morning when I”m eating breakfast and look at people’s new status updates, and maybe again later in the day if I’m bored. But other than posting my status maybe 1x/week I don’t really “do” anything on there. I don’t understand how people spend so much time unless I guess they have like 2342234 friends? It takes me like 2 minutes to read a day’s worth of status updates.

We’ve become a society of information overload.  It’s like we have to constantly know what’s going on everywhere.  Sad really, I know I’m the old one on here but some days I dream of having just one weekend without cell phones and computers.  Temporarily of course, but we have forgotten the human factor that quality time brings.

I used to be more into facebook in highschool and my first couple of years of college because that was the go to place to find out what’s happening around town. Now that I’m grown up and it has spread to my parents generation it’s not nearly as interesting. I certainly don’t want my mother or grandmother knowing every detail of my personal life (then again how personal is facebook??). It’s a good way to keep in touch with old friends though.

I spend way too much time on Facebook. But with people my age (24) it’s the most reliable way to get in contact with people. I have friends all over the world teaching English and going to school, so it’s nice to be able to keep in contact with them.

The last argument SO and I got in (this is sooooo embarrassing) was over him not having Facebook. I think he is being silly by not having it, because even his dad has it and all his friends do! I just want to be able to tag him in pictures and not have In A Relationship w/ ________________ on my profile. It’s super immature, but ugh! He is just a stick in the mud.

I wish I didn’t have a facebook.  I deleted mine for a few months and when I came back, my cousin was engaged, my best high school friend was pregnant, etc. etc. and so now I have to have one now to stay in the loop.  Do people not PHONE people with their news anymore?  *sigh*  I don’t check it very often, though.  Once a week maybe.

I usually go on facebook once or twice a day. But I never spend more than a few minutes on it. Im not interested in 95% of the stuff that is on there and comes up in my news feed so I don’t see how I would be able to spend an exorbinant amount of time on there. I think I’ll probably delete mine soon!
