I love it too, but its so expensive after the introductory offer. Its so mean, they suck you in and then charge you a bunch lol
ETA: I dont buy yoga shorts cause I hate my legs lol, I buy my yoga capris at sams hehe
Wow, congrats on your Bikram session! I am actually a Bikram teacher (and knew I would be after my very first class) so I'm slightly biased, but I'm so glad to hear that you loved your class. I had so many problems when I first started practicing...and I felt so good afterwards that I knew I would keep going back!
We have shorts at the studio, but you can always check out Shakti Activewear for some amazing Bikram yoga shorts. They are somewhat pricey but totally worth it -- they will last you FOREVER!
Good luck starting your practice!
I have seen that on tv so many times and have always wanted to try it, but there is nothing like it here. I am a dancer and would love to add that to my workout schedule.
I love bikram and had the same reaction as you - I haven't been able to really stick to other workout routines, but bikram makes me feel so good both physically and mentally.
I buy shorts at TJ Maxx or Marshall's - and just look for synthetic blends. I've actually found 3-4 great pairs. I love the shakti shorts, but not feeling quite toned enough to wear those. The women in my class that rock them look great though. Also I really, really like beyond yoga shorts and capris - I found them on Amazon - they're not cheap though.
I am a total bikram addict, too! I rave about it to my friends, who think I'm totally crazy. I'm on a self-imposed break now (so expensive!), but I MiSS it! I def plan to rejoin in April.
I've gotten shorts at lululemon--they're really nice, but expensive. I also found a pair of synthetic, tight shorts at a local sports apparel store for like $10, and they're just as good.

So I was finally able to try a 90 minute session today! AND I AM IN LOVE. I am not into running or working out hard... I have ADD with workout videos. But I am flexible and love heat. So I've been dying to give this a try. I was able to buy a two week unlimited classes pass for $25 and the studio is right by my work! :)
I did have to take one break in the first 40 minutes because I overdid it in the beginning, but after a 2 minute breather I was good to go for the rest of the session :) I feel so refreshed from just once, I can't wait to see how this 4x a week schedule goes for the next couple of weeks.
Any other Bikram Yoga-ers out there? :) Where do u buy your yoga shorts?
