You'd probably have to have the entire ring reset. TBH, halos are beautiful, but they're a trend. Your ring as it is now is so elegant and classy that IMO it's perfect as is. I think I remember a thread from a bee who had her ring changed to a halo... search the forums :)

I have to disagree with anyone that says this, I don't think it is a "trend" as halos are often considered more vintage and have been around for decades. Just google rings from the 1920's....halos the majority of them.
OP, It is possible but it will require a new setting, you can't just add one on to your current ring. Find a custom jeweler in your area to quote you it is definitely worth the research if you love halos.
I think your ring is beautiful as is and I think halos are beautiful too...having said that I think you should go with your heart and look at the halo setting! Good luck and have fun looking!
@sherryberry: Who cares? Halo's are beautiful now just like they were 80 years ago and will be 100 years from now.
I don't know if you could get an enhancer with the kind of setting you have. Would you consider getting the same diamond reset into a halo setting?
I put my original diamond into a halo after my original ring setting was ruined and I had to pick a new one and it was the BEST decision. I love my ring so much more now (and not because it's trendy, I like the aesthetic) and an added bonus is that most halos boast thinner diamond bands which I love.

Never said it was a BAD trend. Just said it was a trend. That's my opinion. No big deal. I love them too. I love all rings equally. Chill.

I love my e-ring but I always wanted a halo setting. The band and diamond are perfect as they are, just the setting needs a halo!
Has anyone had a halo setting adding to a ring? or know if its even possible?
