I love my dress… but… I have been thinking of wearing a tulle skirt during the ceramony. But I have no idea if it will work with my mermaid dress.
We are having a Gothic Glam/Dark Romance themed wedding.
This is my dress. <3
This is a tulle skirt I found on Etsy.
And this is what it would sort of look like…. I am soo sorry about my bad photoshop skills.
Am I fussing over nothing? Should I buy the tulle skirt and see how it looks? (I would still use the skirt even if i dont wear it for my wedding)

No! Your dress has such beautiful lines and frankly, that tulle skirt does not. Your dress is stunning on its own. Please don’t stress, you’re going to be beautiful in your dress as it is.

The dress is perfect as is… the skirt would ruin it, IMO.

Your dress is so beautiful the way it is. I wouldn’t change or add anything on to it. The tulle skirt ruins it for me as well.

@laura.batty: please don’t ruin your beautiful dress. I understand you want a gothic/glam wedding but you could totally do that with accessories/makeup etc.
the beading has a gothic glam kind of look to it so play on that. Or maybe if budget allows get a dark glamourous reception dress??

@laura.batty: Your dress is gorgeous- I wouldn’t change a thing!!

I would LOVE to se it with a big tulle skirt for the ceremony… But not that one.
Like another Bee said… Your dress has great, structural lines. That skirt does not!
But a very full normal tulle skirt would be lovely!

What about a black or red crinoline underneath?

That dress is gorgeous as-is. I’d leave it alone.

@BrandNewBride: I have tried finding one on Etsy that is smoother but so far I have had no luck.
