I like the simplicity of option 1 but I feel like everyone does that...but I guess that doesn't really matter?
I like the I DO too! Are you ordering those? Where did you find it?
@verosare: I'm actually just going to do it myself with some hotfix crystals but I found that picture at Good Things Wedding Favors and they are only $4.50!
I love this idea and have never seen it done before - what a brilliant thing!!!
PS. I voted 'I' and 'Do'
I love the idea of putting the date on there....it makes it much more personal.
@Miss Pinot: That's where my dilemma comes in. I love that the date makes it ours but at the same time it might be too much to put on the soles?
@sarabride: I've also seen it done with just a first and last initial on each shoe. Also very adorable.
I think I'm going to go with "I" "Do". I found a font I love and think would look great, but I have another question...All the pictures I can find are on heels and my shoes are a strapy falt? Thanks for your input
Do you think this idea would look/work ok on flats?!
I saw this idea awhile ago and I think Im putting Mrs. on one shoe and T on the other.
Hmm, seems like you have already made up your mind on what to do. I agree with the "I Do"
As far as your second questions go. I wouldn't be suprised if some of the rhinestones came off while wearing them not to mention, look really dirty. Do you plan to wear them during the reception too?
I like the idea of adding your wedding date.
If you're putting them on flats, they may be slippery and interfere with your walking. I'd test it very carefully.
Im going to have to copy your idea as well!! I'm not sure about wearing the crystals on the underside of the shoes though, since your shoes are flats? you might run the risk of having the crystals being scuffed off while walking..
hmm. I don't think you should do it at all. I'd honestly be going nuts walking down the aisle... "I...do...I...do...I...do...I...do...I...do." And then, knowing me, when my priest would ask me if I would "take my husband" I would probably forget what to say!
haha I love all your responses! I actually did put "I do" on the inside of the very low wedge on my shoes and not the bottom. I'll post a picture as soon as I get them uploaded!
i never seen this... love it... i vote the first option
@Virginia: OMG that is HILARIOUS!
Here is the finished product (please disregard the crafting mess)

and a close up

I used a combination of 4mm and 3mm swar. crystals and some gel super glue. I'm blogging about the process right now in case anyone is interested. It was actually relatively easy.
I think that 'I Do' is the best. It would probably be difficult to fit the date on the bottom of the shoes.
@VirginiaMarie: Love the 'Help Me!'

I want to add some bling to the soles of my wedding shoes similar to this (but I'll DIY):
But I'm having trouble deciding what they should say so I've decided to put it to a vote with the hive! Please let me know which option you like best or if you have a better idea. Thanks!
I've come up with these three ideas:
