This might be a silly question, but is it possible to add things after signing the contract? Uplighting… more food stations… more time to the party…?
Or it set in stone, regardless of whether they would make more money off me by adding things…?

ballerina-bride: We have added extra things after signing the contract. Basically it would be like an appendage to the contract – we signed the contract that outlined everything that was included. After meeting with the coordinator she sent us a summary with everything outlined (including a timeline) and a detailed invoice outining all the costs, including things that we added. I don’t see it as a problem as long as it is written somewhere and both parties have acknowledged it.

Most venues/vendors will be more than happy to add things, which means more $$ to them; it’s subtracting things that is difficult, unless you substitute of equal or greater value.
