Oof. I'm sorry JeniRae! That's not something I've even heard of before! At least it sounds like it's managable, if that's what it is...
Thanks, Caitlan. I'd never heard of it in dogs before, but have in humans (in fact, JFK had it!). She goes in for the blood/hormone test tomorrow to confirm. In a way, I want the test to be positive, because at least it would be an answer for us, but on the other hand I don't want it to be a life-long illness, you know? Thanks for keeping us in your thoughts!
wow, I had NO idea that dogs could have Addison's Disease too! But I guess that makes sense... Goodluck! I hope your baby is okay.
I met a dog at the dog park last week who had Addison's. The owner was saying that she was 13 years old!! So keep your chin up! Even if your pooch does have AD, it's not a death sentence!

Hi everyone-
I've been posting about my new dog's health problems here:
http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/advice-from-dogownersvets-perhaps-tmi
Now the vet thinks she might have Addison's Disease (www.addisondog.com). Has anyone had a dog with this before? Looking for any advice. :)
