I did the faux-ligraphy. That is when you print the addresses on the envelopes and then write over it with a pen so that it looks like you did calligraphy for a lot less money.
Have you considered getting a cool handwriting font and printing them that way?

oh, wow. That's the kind of ideas i was looking for! I was considering printing them at home but wasn't sure if it was possible (looks like it is). Loving the faux calligraphy idea right now.

I don't want to use labels for the addresses on my invitations (or STD's or anything really besides the RSVP). Besides hiring a caligrapher (or local art student), what other options are there? You bees might be more creative than I am.
Has anyone had the addresses printed on the envelopes by your printer? I imagine that could be a nightmare with potential typos and not to mention expensive. (?)
Would love to hear the other ideas/options out there that others have used.
