Background: FI and I don’t live together, but we’ll live at my place after we’re married.
I really want to buy one of those cool address stamps and emboss it onto my invites, STDs and later thank you cards. I don’t want to put my current last name (maiden name) on them because I’ll change it after I’m married. I also am wondering if I put FI’s first name and my first names on the stamp if people would assume we’re living together?

I’d say just put both your names. That way you can continue to use it.
People may or may not assume you are living together, but they are expecting you to after you get married so it shouldn’t shock anyone. You can always let anyone know ahead of time who might have issue with it that you are not yet living together even though the address stamp has both names on it.

I would go with “Dick and Jane”. Does it matter if you live together or not? To me, using your address means that is the address that all the wedding correspondence will be going to. This is what I am doing, although we do live together. I think most people will get that it is your address, as the bride, and that is the most obvious place to send RSVPs and such to.

No it doesn’t matter if people think we live together. It’s just technically incorrect right now.
But I guess we’re both paying equally for the wedding so we’re cohosting?

We just did the same thing with a stamp off etsy..we just did first names – Dick & Jane because we wanted to be able to use it before and after we get married!

I hand addressed ours and put on there “Smith Family” because then they would know who it came from and we didn’t want to bother with my maiden name.

I would go with your maiden name, especially if it is going on your invites..its the last time you will ever get to use your maiden name (if you are changing it) i say use it up!

I make us address labels for holidays and our regular bills f, since we do live together, but aren’t married.
I just put:
“Dick & Jane”
