I’m currently working on my invitations but can’t find any information on the internet about response envelopes. Obviously I know to have our address in the middle for them to send the response card envelopes back, but do I write their address in the top left corner as the return address? I just wasn’t sure and wanted to figure outw hat everyone else did before I went and made a mistake.

No, you don’t have to do that. They can if they feel it’s necessary, but if you have the correct postage, it shouldn’t matter. Don’t forget to put a stamp on it!

We only put our address on the response card envelopes, and they’ve been making it back home A-OK! Albiet slowly, but surely. 😉 I think the main downside to not having a return address is in case USPS can’t deliver it for some reason. But, your guests can always choose to write in their address themselves. A good number of ours just stuck an address label on the envelopes.

Just put your address and a stamp – some guests will use a label or write it in as others mentioned.

Response envelopes are the easy ones since they are all the same! I agree that most people will stick a label on the envelope when they send it.

I am just putting my address on them. Most people will probably send them back as is..although for my sister’s wedding a few people did write their address in.

I am just putting my address on them. The guests can fill in the return address if they choose.
