I would write Mr. & Mrs. Jones and Family.
That is what we did, and also what we will be doing for the formal invitations. My understanding is that children living at home only get their own invitation if they are over 18. Otherwise, putting "and Family" makes it clear that the children are invited.
If you would like to send the teenagers their own formal invitations, then yes I do think it's fine to send a save the date just to the whole family.
I added "and family" on mine. I also think it's perfectly ok to write The Jones Family - it implies the same thing.

Sorry if this question has already been asked/answered, but I'm trying to figure out how to handle the addressing of STD's for certain guests.
I know my teenage cousins living with their parents get their own invites, but I was wondering if I could send a single save the date addressed to "The Jones Family" - is that tacky/cutting corners? All those STD's to one address seem excessive for some reason, though I understand sending everyone a separate invite to clarify that everyone in the household is an invited guest. Do I have to follow the same invite rules for save the dates??
Thanks for your help bees!
