@ZombieBullfrogHoller:  my mummy friends SWEAR by them, and I always give one as a gift for new babies and they are much loved, so we’ve bought ourselves a 4 pack when I saw them on sale one night. Apparently they are the perfect size for swaddling, super soft (and keep getting softer with each wash) and very versatile. Hopefully we’ll get some more as presents 🙂 we also got some of their cot/crib sheets to try, too.

Someone just bought them for us and they are AMAZING. Soooooo soft. We’re actually using them in lieu of receiving blankets as they’re so light and soft–perfect for any use. Every mum I know who has them swears by them.

I don’t have a baby yet but I have heard glowing reviews on these and we will be putting them on our registry as well.

I got some from a friend who had heard great things about them.  After I used them they became in my top 5 favorite things I had for the baby!  The are perfect for swaddling and nice for just a light “blanket” of sorts!  I say go for it!

ok i saw the title of this thread and thought it was a baby naming thing for twins- “Aden” and “Anais” and I was about to come in here and yell at you.

so thanks for making this thread about blankets and not baby names that are almost “anus”

🙂

@ZombieBullfrogHoller:  I have nothing helpful to add except PHEW! I only clicked on this thread because I thought you were considering baby names and you NEEDED to know that Anais would absolutely be pronounced “anus” for the rest of his/her life.

That’s all. good luck on the baby blanket thing.

I love muslin blankets but I prefer lulujo brand. They are a little cheaper than a&a. I definitely use regular old receiving blankets more often than the muslin though so you can totally get away with the old classics! Babies don’t care much what they are wrapped in :).

although honestly I would love to read a thread about the name  ” anais”

i can imagine the comments ” it looks like penis and sounds like anus, what could possibly wrong!?!”
