Aww I love Adirondacks! I haven't seen a particular themed wedding per se but I have definately been to silver bay and the area :)
I would spring for earth tone colors, rustic items native to the area, using the outdoor ecology to accent.

Our wedding isn't necessarilly Adirondack themed but we are having an Adirondack wedding. We're getting married in Lake George and going with the whole fall theme.
If you have any questions about Adirondack weddings (primarily Lake George region - Silver Bay isn't far), let me know. :)
This is what I am working with right not. I wish I could find more photos from the wedding that the invitations came from but the source wasn't given...such a bummer. I love weddings that have a flowing theme from the invites to the favors. And we are having a super small wedding of 30 so I can be a little extravagent with the details. I just don't want it to get too cheesy....

here's a post on weddingbee discussing Adirondack wedddings:
There is a brand new magazine filled with gorgeous Adirondack weddings! Aptly, it's called Adirondack Weddings magazine. Check out their website for a list of store locations or buy it online. www.adirondack-weddings.com
Looks like they just started blogging, too.
Oh, also, they have Inspiration Galleries online, which might be exactly what you're looking for: http://adirondack-weddings.com/adirondack-weddings-inspiration-galleries
Forest Lake Camp - forestlakecamp.com is now holding weddings and can accomodate 200. They are a full service camp where you can have guests use the facilities all weekend and can handle either an outdoor or indoor reception. You can see what they offer at http://forestlakecamp.com/rentingflc.aspx and contact them through the website. Absolutely gorgeous location with private lake and wonderful views. Very reasonably priced.

So we are thinking of moving our wedding to silver bay, ny (silverbay.org) It was my family's vacation location for my whole childhood. I like the idea of a destination wedding but I don't want it to get too "woodsy." Has anyone come across a weddings on the blogs with an adirondack theme? Maybe Catskills?
