Why did you have regret in the first place? I had to keep going back to Davids Bridal after I bought my gown (not purchased from there) and I saw some gorgeous dresses, even the one that was my runner up. Sure you get that uncomfortable feeling like “why didn’t I pick that one” well you didn’t pick that one because you picked your dress. Just remember why you love your dress and why you picked it.

Well I know this sounds crazy, but, could you wear a sparkly belt on your head? As a headband? I’ll see if I can find something.

@RubyStar:  If this friend is close enough so that you both end up in each other’s bridal party, I assume you can confide about your insecurities about dress shopping. Talk about it openly. It might help you get rid of the fear and anxiety of dress shopping. Once it’s out, stay focussed on your task. You know by being on the Hive that there are zillions of dresses. Just because you have similar tastes does not mean she’ll choose your perfect dress, or that you can’t find one you like afterwards. Good luck !
