I was once over 300#. I hated pictures. I don’t have any advice for you other than let your happiness shine.

How long until your wedding? Is there any way you can lose weight between now and then to help you feel a bit more confident? I’m in the process of losing weight for my wedding in 6 weeks and just thinking of all the photos, not wanting to look or feel bad on the day or in pics for the rest of my life has been a massive motivator.

PS- your FI obviously loves you for who you are (all 300lbs of you) dont be ashamed of something he loves so much. WHat you are basically tell him is that he has bad taste for hating your looks so much.

The most beautiful brides are the ones who are gloriously happy and the love can be felt. Dont let the exterior dictate your interior.

I suggest telling your photographer! If you are honest with your photographer about things you are self conscious about they really should be able to work with you. She should be able to position you in ways that are most flattering.

In my case we had a spur of the moment engagement photo shoot. It had been 2 months since my hair was highlighted and I was freaking out that it was going to be seen in all of my photos and I would preserve have to send awful pictures to all my friends and family. I told my photographer and she worked really hard to capture pictures that did not highlight the tacky regrowth.

i weighed 280 at my wedding. i was 315, lost 50lbs then gained a bunch of it back before my wedding. if you work on your arms you will notice a difference in your pics. i did a lot of weights to help sort of tone my arms. i am back to where i started 🙁 315 again. its a vicious cycle. but i felt beautiful on my wedding day, and i bet you will too no matter what your weight. a true smile makes anyone look more beautiful.

MrsWatkinstobe: i went to the gym with my hubby, i did every machine that was for arms they had. i did one rep of 10 at my max weight, then tuned it down 10 or so lbs and did atleast 3 more reps of 10. im sure you can get great reslts with 10lb dumbells f you dont want a gym membership.
