I have a free shutterfly photo book so I’m using it to make a guestbook with our engagement photos. I know the pictures we got from the photographer are large and of high quality, but they show up in the shutterfly preview a bit pixelated. Does anyone know if the photobooks come out okay when they’re printed? Thanks!

I put together photo books for my mom and Mother-In-Law with photos from the bridal shower, and the photos looked great!

I love Shutterfly and have ordered many books from there, however I have never had pictures show up pixelated..That is kind of weird?? Usually, if the picture is going to not print well enough quality in the book, Shutterfly will have a little yellow triangle thing to let you know before ordering..If that makes sense:) Haha

I have ordered quite a few books from Shutterfly and have always loved them. I recently did a similar order, made a book to use for the guests to sign, and our pics (of high resolution) turned out pixelated on the screen too. I ordered anyway since none of Shutterfly’s warnings popped up on any of the pictures and when I received the book last week everything was perfect! Just make sure in the preview there are no warnings that the resolution is too low.

Thank you all SO MUCH! The only little yellow warning triangle I have is because they think I spelled our names wrong 🙂 I will go ahead and order! You bees are the best.

If you get the warning about the quality of the picture it WILL come out pixilated. Be warned!

I did the same kind of guestbook – the only picture that came out at all pixelated was one they warned me about, because the resolution was too low, but I sort of needed it for balance on a particular page (and it was a super-old photo from childhood, anyway) so I kept it in. The rest look amazing, and honestly even that one doesn’t look bad.
