(Closed) advice bee’s on powder for rugs?

I dont really know anything about carpet cleaner in powder form… I thought the powder stuff was just to freshen the carpet and make it smell nice and clean. Am I wrong? I don’t know that it actually “lifts” stains… I would think you would need a foam cleaner for that…

@Sweet.Sugar.Rose: For spots, I use the spot remover in a can, it has a carpet scrubber at the top of it. You spray this foam from the can and use the scrubber and scrub the spot. It works well. I got mine at a dollar store for about $3

Actually there is a powder cleaner. Resolve has a big red bottle I think it’s called high traffic. You sprinkle it on and scrub it in with a brush/broom and leave on for 20 minutes and then vacuum. It’s great at getting pet hair that’s deep down. You are not crazy, there is powder cleaner! ๐Ÿ™‚ I use it all the time and on my area rug. For hard spots though you do need something stronger like a spot cleaner.
