FH and I did our E-pics tonight, and I thought I would share some advice after going through this experience. Please add your own tips too:
1. Come prepared!
Because our weather has been so iffy, (humid AND rainy), we brought an umbrella and also brought bottles of water. Additionally, because we started mid-afternoon, we brought some snack bars. Don’t forget to bring your lipstick/lipgloss if you want for touch-ups, and a brush!
2. If possible, pre-scout your location.
We picked out our location a few weeks ago, and spent some time over a few days walking through the grounds (public park/beach area) to find some good spots. That way, we weren’t wasting time trying to figure out where to go.
3. Be honest about your likes and dislikes.
We all have things we don’t like about ourselves. Be honest with yourself, and your photographer, about things you’re not dying to have focused on. For example, I’m a bit self-conscious about some light scarring I have on my right jaw line, which I mentioned to our amazing photographer. She was great about it, and we set up most pictures with that side of my jaw kind of hidden, or at least not the main spot.
Who else can add some good tips?
