How did you reach those figures of £1000 and £700?  What was the original retail price and what did you pay for them?  Have you had any feedback or interest shown even though you haven’t yet had a sale?

charm99:  Usually when you sell secondhand I think you get around 40% or less of your purchase price.  So you are selling yours THIRDhand, could you price it at 40% of what you paid?

I had no luck selling mine online either and found a local bridal boutique that handled the sale for me, and had many more interested buyers than I had.  I ended up with only 25% of the original purchase price (not counting alterations!!) because the boutique took 50% of the sale price though 🙁

I second Koalaclark. How much is original retail and how much did you pay? You have to figure when you buy so many dresses thinking you will just sell the one you don’t choose, you are going to loose some money. If you aren’t already, I would post at 10-20% less than what you paid.

charm99:  so it sounds like the pricing is ok.  Are you showing plenty of pictures and a good write up.  I get put off when people just cooy the designer blurb rather than putting their own description together. Are you using the best description headline.  What about postage/pick up are you offering easy options?

have you had any interest at all?
