I need some pictures and ideas for how to decorate the area where the bride and groom stand to say vows. Our site is outdoors and I have seen arches (prefer the square top instead of the round) but recently feel in love with columns. I haven't a clue on how to decorate or envision this and drawing a blank. Advice Needed for Ceremony Decor : wedding arches decorations Icon Sad

I believe that your florist can help you with this. If notthen I would go to random florist sites and look at how they decorate the ceromony sites. Go to the Knot and look up florist sites and check out how they decorate ceremony sites.

I hope that helps. This is how I decided what kind of flowers I wanted. It made it alot easier when I met with my florist - I was ableto show him pictures and I was able to tell him exactly what I wanted.

i am not sure what they are called but they have a piece that can fit over the columns...connecting the two and making a nice frame around the couple.

i've seen pictures of this done...and i envision it with 2 or more shorter pedestals used near the base where some kind of flower or plant arrangments would be placed.
