My advice is don’t do it. There are so many scams involving Western Union purchases, and once that money is gone, you can’t get it back. Smething is fishy with that paypal thing and her recent move. I know it’s tempting, but don’t do it!!

If she does happen to be a scammer, she’ll be happy getting half of the money and leaving you in the lurch.

I should probably mention that I have experience working with all kinds of fraud, and I saw this type of scenario on a daily basis.

@KateS77:  Keep in mind that scammers are rarely not nice until they take your money and you never hear from them again. People don’t give mean people their money!

I’m glad you are walking away from this. Sounds like nothing but trouble.

@KateS77:  I’m so glad you’re walking away from this also. I would not trust anyone who asks for western union, unless it’s a “reputable” company from asia. I can’t think of anyone from the USA that would ask for Western Union

I’m glad you didn’t do it!! I used to work in a grocery market that had Western Union and I had to talk people out of sending money to scammers all the time.

Would she agree to using escrow.com?  They act as the in-between, so that folks don’t get scammed…

I’d only use PayPal.com or Escrow.com (same thing) when dealing with strangers.  Good luck!
