- Wedding: May 2013 - Cedar Grove Plantation
From the begining I knew I was in love with black & white damask. My issue is I am getting married in spring and really want some acsents that will brighten it up & pop against the pattern. We have gone back and forth between pink ( light pink & fuschia), & tiffany blue and we cant seem to make a descion. This has to be determined asap so I can start on my projects. Advice and opions please!

I personally hate black and white damask. I think it’s over used in decor, weddings, cheap notepads, etc. Black and white damask + hot pink makes me think of Target teenage bed spreads. I do, however, love colored damask. Have you considered using colored damask along with a couple different accent shades? I don’t want to offend you or anything, I’m just saying, it’s spring and I think color sets the tone. You’re looking for color, but the black and white damask can be really “heavy” if that makes any sense. These are just a few ideas 🙂 Hope it helps.
Although these are pics of a bathroom the colors are amazing :
combine those colors with something like this:
This is nice too, if you’re set on black:
love this light pink and champagne theme:
blue damask and shades of purple:
mauves and purples:
lilac, ligh green, and pink:
gray and peach (love this a lot):

For my first wedding I did black and white damask with a bright green accent. Our table centre pieces were large vases filled with green apples. We had green and white flowers, and then groomsmen were in black suits, and I was in white.

Love black and white! Not sure what damask is though, anywho I love the idea of adding tiffany blue (I’m kinda biased though because I don’t love pink). We’re doing black and white with green (kiwi & kelly).
