forever brilliant means that the stone is whiter. unenhanced moissanites tend to have a warmer color. i saw a FB moissanite in person a week or so ago, and it was still warm for my tastes. that being said, it was probably a 3ct stone, and larger stones tend to be warmer.

Ebrown0507:  4.5 carats? Have you worn any rings with stones that size? I’m just asking because that is A LOT of ring. If that’s your style, go for it! But I’d just recommend you wear something that size around for awhile and see how you like it for everyday wear. There was a girl on here that posted her 4 carat pear doamond awhile back, and it was beautiful. She also had really long, elegant fingers though.

Good luck in your hunt for the perfect ring! Post pics when you get it!

Ebrown0507:  I love my classic Moissanite, but if you want the whitest possible and/or you are color sensitive, then definitely get FB, which is the whitest they have.

Ebrown0507:  I have a 1.4 carat equivalent cushion cut moissanite. It is very mood, but I love that. If you want your ring to look white white all or most of the time I suggest a round cut closer to 1 carat and Forever Brilliant. Mine looks buttery yellow in sunlight, BRIGHT white and sparkly rainbows galore in bright bright sunlight, and greyish in overcast weather. I love it. I will say 4.5 does seem huge. I’m not a huge stone girl, but my 1.4 feels huge on m y size 8.5 finger.

Oh and I forgot to mention tha tit really reflects what I wear sometimes. Like I am wearing a pink shirt in this picture and the stone is throwing off a lot of pink sparkles.

I have both a 9.5mm and 10 mm oec. One is set in unplated white gold and one in rose. Both are unenhanced and I adore them. They are mostly white and sometimes a great creamy color.

4.5 ct is going to show much more body color, so I would get the Forever Brilliant. Definitely try things on at the jewelry store, especially if you have small hands. I think jewelry should compliment the hand, and 4.5ct might overwhelm you. Just my 2cents 😉
