Oops, forgot to post the link to where I bought them if anyone is interested...

I think those are really pretty! For me, the trick is to balance out what is "me" with what is "special occassion." I don't want to have too much of one or the other. For example, I'm planning on a relatively simple dress, but I'll probably go a bit fancier on the jewelry than I normally wou.d
ooh I think those are FABULOUS. Especially if your hair will be down. How lmany inches long are they? Definitely take them along to your hair trial on saturday and see how you feel. And dont' worry about 'not being used to wearing something like this'. It's not every day you wear a wedding dress and get married either, but you'll feel totally great doing that!
They are 2.1 inches long and .43 inches wide...I'll bring them to my trial and have a picture taken that I can post on here...
those are beautiful! are you planning on wearing a necklace? i guess really you will have to try everything together and see but if you have a bare neck those earrings might be the perfect touch. good luck hope they work out!
Those are gorgeous, the hair down would help make them less formally dressy and more of a fun, sparkly accessory.
oh oh oh! I REALLY like those earrings...I might just "steal" your earrings for my wedding. They are exactly what I am looking for! My dress is very simple with no detailing so I am looking for something that sparkles! I am planning on wearing my hair up with no necklace. I have been trying on many earrings and the longer ones seem to look better with my hair up.
GREAT TASTE!!!!
OH MY GOODNESS! Your earrings are beautiful! I think they are the type of earrings that would stunning no matter what you would wear!
I don't think they are "too much." You're supposed to go all out on your wedding day.
Question-- does your dress have a lot of jewels on the top? Mine does, but I'm not planning on wearing a necklace. Instead, I'll do pretty earrings -- probably something similar to this!
Those are beautiful!!! I love them!!! I think with the right dress they would look great!! Can you post an image of your dress?
Here are some pictures of my dress, the first three are from the Maggie Sottero website...the one in the champaigne color is the actual color of my dress (more like a dark ivory). The last picture was taken by me with my cell phone when I first tried on the dress at the shop (it was in a size 12 so slightly big on me as I ordered an 8).
Umm can I say that I LOVE your dress!!! Ive bookmarked it in several magazines I've seen it in so I could look into it for me!!! But your the first person I've seen on here that actually bought it!! I'm soo jealous!! I think the earings would look FAB with this!! Your dress is strapless so danglies will compliment your shoulders and neck! Aww I LOVE IT!!!
Lol! I do love the dress too, I had tried on soo many before this one but once I put it on I just knew it was the one! I'm hoping to sell it after the wedding...it just may be difficult because it's not the traditional white/ivory. Have you found a dress yet?
Well its beautiful! Does it come in white? My FH just asked that it would be white because he is very tradiational so I'm going to try and make it happen!
I haven't found one yet and I'm trying (Very VERY Hard!!!!) to not look because our wedding isn't until next July (July 24, 2010) and I dont want to not fit into it. So I'm going to start looking in June and hopefully find one by the end of July/August of this year!
It comes in White and Diamond White (which is just a bit softer than the white/white). It is a beautiful dress and so flattering because of the way it is cut. I just wanted something fairly simple with a little bling. I wouldn't worry about not fitting into it if you got it a bit early, because it has the corset back it can go up or down at least 1 size. The only alteration I am having done on the dress is the hem and bustle. It's such a beautiful satin though, and it hangs perfectly without even adding extra slips or petticoats underneath. I'm wearing purple ballet flats underneath (my FI's favorite color is dark purple, lol).
How about the train, can you get it longer? I kinda wanted a longer train but I might sacrifice that for this dress cause I really do love it, every time I see it in a magazine, I just fall in love with it all over again!

Sorry, there are no users yet.
So, here are the earrings I ordered for the wedding. My dress is a maggie sottero champaigne strapless, though I will be wearing a custom bolero jacket to cover my shoulders. I have long blonde hair so i'm not sure yet if I'll be wearing it half up or all up (my trial is on Saturday, eek!).
Do you all think these earrings are too much? Too long, too sparkly, too anything? They are very pretty in person, I guess I'm just not used to wearing something like this. Any input would be appreciated.
