I am planning to propose to my GF soon and I was hoping for some advice on my ring choice.
I know she wanted a three stone ring with stones in the band. I found this ring and thought it was unique. I have never seen stones in the side of the band before but I am hoping that she will like it. What are your opinions? Thanks a ton!
1.04 carat center stone
1.04 ctw band
total = 2.08 tcw
(Pictures are shown with CZ stones because it had to be ordered)

@FianceToBe: i think it’s beautiful. i’m sure she will love it. it’s timeless.
do you know what type of rings she likes, does she give you any hints??

@mypinkshoes: Thanks! I know she likes round, three-stone, and diamonds in the band. Im a little worried because she recently said she also liked bands without defined diamonds in them (just sparkly chips). I Dont know if it would go well with this particular three-stone though.

I think its a gorgeous choice! She will love it, especially if she hinted she likes the three stone rings.

Oh wow, I usually don’t like 3-stone rings but even I have to say that is DROP-DEAD GORGEOUS! I’m sure she’ll love it. Most of us have several ring styles we like, so don’t worry about fitting every single one of her requirements – she mentioned 3-stone with diamonds in the band, and that’s what you’ve found. The one thing I might try and find out before you commit is what type of metal she prefers.

A gorgeous, classic ring design and the center diamond sounds very nice!
Questions you may want to consider:
Are the diamonds (particularly the center diamond) certified? By whom? GIA or AGS is best.
Do the diamonds have fluorescence? How much if so?
What kind of inclusions do the diamonds have? Are they feathers? Do they make the diamonds more fragile?
Have the stones been treated in any way to improve color or remove inclusions (which often weakens them, is sometimes temporary, and should reduce cost) or are they fully natural?
What is the cut grading of the diamonds? I would recommend a high cut grade.

@joya_aspera: Thanks! I did a lot of research as to where I wanted to go to get the ring. This is the place where my insurance compnay sends people to get stones appraised, etc… so I figured they were a good choice and trustworthy. I looked at the stone (for a long time!) with a loupe. I could not see anything major at all in the stone.
Ill check into everything else. Thanks a lot!

I think it’s very nice – and extra special for being unique by having the diamonds on the sides of the band instead of the top.

That ring is gorgeous!!! I love the stones on the side, so unique! She will love it because of all the work you went to to find the perfect ring!
