I’m having these table numbers made for my peacock-themed wedding, and I need advice: would these number cards look better if I put them in frames- or- should I use those table number holders?
(Also, if anyone knows where I can get frames or table number holders cheap, I would really appreciate it!) 🙂

have you already had them made? I was trying to figure out how to have mine until one of the bee’s showed me these and I made some it was sooo easy! (not mine mine are below in a different post)

@mishelleez: Those look awesome. I say do something like that.

I think either would look nice, but between the two options, I would probably pick the frames. You just need to make sure the frames wouldn’t cut off any of your number or peacock. 🙂

OH WOW! That is amazing! (Unfortunately, I already paid for mine). How did you do this, Michelleez?!?!?! If you don’t mind my asking, how much did this cost you and how time consuming was it?

I think it depends on the frame or card holder.

Thoes were not the ones I made. sorry I should have added that in the only pic i have of mine is from my phone so its kinda blurry but Ill post it!
They were actully pretty cheap & easy ( Im not into hard complex things)
- Cylinder vases From dollar tree $1 each
- Vellum Paper from Staples $12 for 50 sheets
- Ribbon (just under 12″ for each) $1.50 at michaels
- Printed them out at work FREE (but on reg printer I dont have ink at home!)
All I did was print, cut to size glue with hot glue and add ribbon!

- Wedding: May 2011 - Bartram's Garden
Ikea Tolsby frames. 99 cents apiece.

I would use table number holders because they might stand a little taller than a frame allowing guests to find their table.

I used frames for mine, but I don’t have a picture yet.
we went to the dollar store and picked out a bunch of 4×6 frames with detailed edges/frames, and then removed the glass and spray painted them an antique looking gold. they were really cheap, easy, and they look gorgeous!

@danadelphia:wow, I’ve been looking for double sided frames! Thanks!

I used frames for ours.. . I just went to thrift stores and antique stores and painted them all white. It will be harder to do with yours since they are all the same size. I also think it depends on what else is on the table…

Thanks for all the great feedback, bees!
@Michelleez- wow, you did a fantastic job! Thanks so much for sharing- beautiful!
@danadelphia- I totally forgot about Ikea! Thanks! 🙂
@AnneTossy & Redeemed Rebekah- I never thought of getting all different ones and just spray painting them the same color. Great idea!
