Does anyone know if this is a reliable vendor for quality supplies? Please share your experience or advice for website with good deals on wedding supplies such as DIY decor, vases, etc.
I’m also looking for a reliable parasol vendor.
My wedding is August 15, 2010 in Koh Samui, Thailand! We will be under a pretty hot sunset beach wedding and a breezy evening reception on a cliff. 🙂
Thanks for responding!

Thailand!! How amazing!! 🙂 Is it a destination wedding?
I was totally all set to buy a ton of stuff from Save On Crafts, but ended up finding what I needed for cheaper or the same price locally. (However, I’m in Los Angeles so this may be more difficult depending on your location!) There were manzanita specialty stores, wholesale craft stores, candle stores (online, even) and just about everything so I only ended up buying some preserved blue orchids from Save On Crafts. Delivery was fast, they packed the items well so there was no damage, and I was very pleased with the product quality. The item was exactly as described and pictured on the website. They also seemed very thorough and honest!
So in addition to Save on Crafts, I also ordered from candles4less (online) and Floral Supply Syndicate (which I believe sells online but I was able to go in person).
Best of luck!

Yup, I got part of my bridesmaid gifts there, as well as a flower for my hair.. no problems, and it was at my house quickly! I’m a fan.

I’ve found some stuff on there and its worked out just fine. I found the site itself hard to manuever around, it was a bit complicated to find the stuff I was looking for. But once I did, I saved a lot and it was delivered pretty quickly.

I agree with the site being difficult to manuever around. I didn’t have any problems with delivery and the product was of good quality. I give them a thumbs up.

I ordered from them too and didn’t have any problems. I’m probably going to be placing another order soon.

Thanks for the response guys! I was thinking of ordering birch branches and dollar trees for my centerpieces, and well…i’m still working on ideas at this point. 🙂
FYI – yes – it’s a destination wedding, although my fiance and i live in Taipei, Taiwan, where we met 1.5 yrs ago. he’s from germany and i’m from california…and since we have guests flying out here from all over the world….we picked Koh Samui, Thailand as our beach fun destination.
If anyone is considering a honeymoon in SE Asia, I highly recommend Koh Samui – incredible honeymoon/wedding destination for probably HALF the price you’d pay for other popular spots 🙂

I ordered from save-on-crafts! The things I found there were definitely MUCH cheaper than anywhere else I found and everything was good quality. I had a couple issues with them (their shipping is rather slow and half the stuff I wanted was always out of stock…) but, for the most part I was happy with them- just start early 🙂
