If you can so see the temples, it takes a whole day but worth it.

Lots of great excursions.  I recommend going down to Akumal for snorkeling, day trip to Isla de Mujeres, mayan ruins in Tulum or Chichen Itza, Sian Ka'an ecopark, local Cenotes such as Dos Ojos or Gran Cenote... You won't have enough time to do all the fun things you'll want to do!

We're going there a couple weeks after you! I'm not sure yet which excursion(s) we'll do. I think we'll probably only do one because we're kind of going more for the relaxation. :) I can't wait, though!!

I'm considering staying here too! You would have to book your excursions separately- they can probably book these for you, but they're not included. I really want to see the Chichen-Itza Mayan temple, and there's one where you can snorkel under ruins that I's loove the try- maybe it's in a cenote? I'm not sure what that is yet.

We're also considering Aventura Spa Palace (south of Playa del Carmen, similarly priced, excursions INCLUDED) and Ecxellece Riviera Cancun (excursions not included, but really gorgeous, bike to Puerto Morales)  I canNOT decide which one!

There are so much things to do in Cancun.

    Tulum

    Xel-Ha

    X-caret

    Mayan Ruins

If you've found a good deal don't let it go!

Our B&G will be there the week after you guys- you may cross paths:-)  They booked a zipline excursion through Expedia a few months ago.  Have fun- Royal was just given a new award recently for quality.

Just got back from Cancun and we took an excursion to Tulum - I would definitely recommend it. It does get very hot there but you can take a dip in the sea at the small beach. The site is magical - definitely worth visiting.

    Hope this helps!
