(Closed) Advice/comments on this recipe please! (brussels sprouts and shallots)

When I roast brussel sprouts I just use olive oil, salt, and pepper and they’re delicious.  They’re actually a bit sweet.  Adding shallots will add wonderful flavor.  I think you’re good to go.  🙂

I’ve never noticed that shallots smell chemically.  I’m sure they’re fine.  They definitely don’t smell oniony so maybe that’s what you were expecting.  🙂

I think it will taste lovely, I’ve never had brussel sprouts sweet only savoury.  I roast them with mustard.

Shallots and brussel sprouts sound delicious!  Shallots nave a sweet taste and the salt will a accentuate it.  Yummm.

Leave it as is. If you roast them long enough, they will caramelize & it will bring out their natural sweetness.

When I cook my brussel sprouts, I chop up a couple slices of bacon with it. Adds a great taste!!
