Kslim13 :  … but your period isn’t actually late according to your chart.

also I said charts and TTC- There’s a post I remember reading about OPKs where people gave you advice and you got super defensive about them.

Kslim13 :  IIRC, you have had quite a few posts regarding your period being late or not on time based on when you normally expect AF. This one in particular: http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/possibly-pregnant-late-period-but-no-symptoms-or-positive-test-yet/

In all of these posts, other bee’s have given you great advice on how and why to track ovulation so that you can know with certainty when your period is due and if these tests will give you adequate results. And until you do so, we can’t really give you advice in regards to 1) how your chart looks or 2) if your period is actually late. Also in all of these posts, you got super defensive when you did not get the advice you wanted to hear.

I understand that TTC can be stressful, I dealt with my fair share of struggles throughout our journey. But I will say, if you aren’t willing to dedicate yourself to learning how and why confirming ovulation is important, and how your cycle can change based on life circumstances, late ovulation, etc (and not just when AF is due based on it “usually coming around the 4th or 5th of the month” – then you can’t possibly expect bee’s to continue to respond to your questions every month asking if your test is going to turn positive or if you are out. Especially if you are going to be rude and defensive in your response to their questions.

Best of luck to you.

Kslim13 :  of course not! I’ve asked questions myself on this journey- there’s nothing wrong with asking questions. I’m just saying maybe try being open to the answers you’re receiving instead of arguing or getting defensive.

Kslim13 :  i responded to your first post, you didn’t tell me you confirmed ovulation with temping, you just said AF was due based on previous cycles and a FF prediction. That’s why I responded asking if you temped. Because temping is the only way to confirm ovulation.  Then you responded snarky to me and all I was trying to do was help and give you the info you needed. Maybe it was more than you needed but how was I supposed to know?

I seriously just don’t understand why you’re so upset.

Kslim13 :  The charters thread might be a good place for you to get input on your charts, expected cycle length/statistics and help regarding any questions you may have about this process. Just a thought.

Yes I second what BeverlyGeese said, the charters are incredibly supportive and knowledgeable. It made my TTC journey much more bearable and I talk to at least one of them off of WB daily.
