I have a bridal shower/bachelorette party to go to next weekend. We all are paying the MOH $30 for a party bus and unlimited drinks! Pretty cool idea =]. So, any good, affordable ideas on what to get the bride? I already went to her bridal shower two months ago and got her stuff off her registry and this is more of a “fun” party, obviously. I don’t want to spend too much because of the shower+b-party+wedding gift. She only came to my wedding, so I’m trying to keep even, cost-wise. She’s a good friend and we email frequently, but don’t see each other often and I have a tendency to lose my head when I buy gifts. It’s a problem.
Ideas? Thanks =]

Are you totally against lingerie? If so, you can get some massage oil from bath and body works.

I saw one girl give a bride a basket of self-care stuff, like candles, soaps, a b&n gift card, a bag of milano cookies, a bottle of wine, stuff like that. She loved it, and it looked phenomenal. Something like that wouldn’t be too expensive to put toegther.

Ooooo interesting. I got Bath and Body Works as a wedding gift, which i thought was tacky, but it IS a good idea for a bachelorette gift! Like a “sensual night” theme or something. Oh man!
She’s gluten intolerant, though, so I’ll have to be creative with the cookies and wine.
I’m not against lingerie, I just don’t really know her size and I can picture everyone else for the most part buying that.

I have a friend who is severely gluten intolerant, if you want, i can ask her for suggestions for you. Just send me a PM if you’re interested, we’ll figure it out for ya 🙂

Some friends and I recently went in on a bag of silly and risque bachelorette presents from The Pleasure Chest. Candy handcuffs, dirty Mad Libs, shower sex handle, etc… It was pretty cheap and fit the bride’s sense of humor, not to mention that some of it was pretty useable…

Lotions and stuff are always fun, just stuff that you wouldn’t normally buy for yourself. Even some KY variety packs.
