I'm interested in any recommendations as well. I did flag this post from about a year ago listing a couple local boudoir photogs, but I've yet to research their pricing.

@ Bean - you're right, most of those are out of my price range as well, but I'll share the price quotes I've gotten back, since this post inspired me to get on the ball and do some research!

The Basics of Sweet Tart Boudoir (all the lingo you need to know)

* A session with the photographer will include one or multiple "Set-ups". (Backdrops and lighting will be provided, unless we choose a location shoot)
* Each Set up is defined by changing the setting of your photograph or outfit in the photograph. (ie: taking down the lighting, changing background, etc.)
* Each Set up consists of around 50-75 photographs to choose from, professional lighting and backdrops, AND 3 fully retouched photographs. (we can, of course, work with you if you want more)

2 setups= $200
3 setups= $275
4 setups= $350
5 setups= $425

1 hour session fit as many outfits and backgrounds in this fun filled session. Come with your make-up and hair already done. This session will be held in our amazing studio. This session includes a one on one wardrobe consultation via phone or email.

The Sexy Session - $200
1 hour session fit as many outfits and backgrounds in this fun filled session. Come with your hair already done and then have your make-up done by the professionals. This session will be held in our amazing studio.This session includes a one on one wardrobe consultation via phone or email.

The Spicy Session - $350
This session Includes a one on one wardrobe consultation via phone or email. We do full hair and make-up, changing looks if necessary for your outfits.  You can have as many wardrobe changes as you can fit in up to 2 hours.  Your session can be held in our studio, your  house, a friend’s house or a swanky hotel suite or all of the above; locations must be within 30 minutes of the studio or travel fees may apply. Locations can be provided by the studio, call for a quote.

Marathon Sexy Girl  Sessions (Between 2 and 6 people)
Marathons are composed of at least 6 ladies at a discounted price and are offered in my local studio in or beautiful hotels Nationwide. Marathon sessions usually take place on a weekend. If you would like to be a Marathon organizer on a specific City, give me a call to receive an awesome discount and goodies with your session.

M.I.L.F Maternity Session - $159
This hour-long fine art session captures the true sexiness and art of the expectant mother.

Make-up & Hair

Session Fees cover the time and talent of the photographer. Our pricing reflects the high standards of quality and care that we put into each image.  The entire photography process receives our passion and reflects our artistry. All sessions require a deposit to schedule.

 - All prints 11x14 and larger are mounted, sprayed and ready for framing.

- Custom framing, Gallery Wraps,  and Albums can take more than four weeks (but we try to be timely).

Adeline & Grace Intimates - who I think I might go with, they have a studio (a plus because lots of boudoir photogs want to do the shoot in your house, which is pretty impossible considering I live with my FI and don't want to kick him out during the shoot and ruin the surprise), and I LOVE the style of their shots, plus the pricing is pretty reasonable, given the quality).

All commissions include a complimentary consultation to discuss the vision of your session.

The Sensual Book $600

1-2 hour intimates session with 2-4 different looks. Includes a 5x5 30-image book set against sultry black pages.

The Sultry Book $900

1-2 hour intimates session with 3-5 different looks. Includes and 8x8 30-image book set against sultry black pages

The Sinful Book $1100

2-3 hour intimates session with 4-6 different looks. Includes an 8x8 30-page custom designed album with approximately 30-50 images.

The Seductive Book $1800

3 hour intimates session with unlimited looks. Includes an 8x8 30-page custom designed album with approximately 30-50 images. Available in luscious red leather or sultry black leather. A peek-a-boo image adorns the cover of this album.

Of course these aren't all the boudoir photogs in the Bay Area, but these are the ones who've responded to my inquires so far (and I only sent e-mails to those that I either LOVED the look of their portfolios, or seemed like they might have reasonable prices.)

This just popped up in my Google reader, Adeline and Grace Intimates is having two mini session days this November and December, $225 for an hour shoot with two outfits. Something to look into if you're on a budget for boudoir pics!
