Has any of you ordered a wedding dress from this website? Please share your experience.

How does this work - I recognize some of the dresses from the designer websites - are they making them or just selling them at a lower cost? if they are making "copies" per say, do i need to get my BMs to go try on the actual dress at a boutique first?

I ended up buying a dress from this website. The problem is, I have my measurements (bust/waist/hips/length), but I chose size 10 because of my hips, so I knew it would be bigger. When I got the dress, I really liked it, but it did end up being a lot larger on me. I paid $105 for the dress, and another $50 for express shipping. When I took it to a seamstress to see how much alterations would cost (and bustling), she gave me an estimate for $450! Soooo, I ended up having another dress custom-sewn for me (my parents were in my home country, Philippines, at the time and it's really cheap to have dresses made there).

If I had known better, I would've sent lightinthebox my exact measurements and they would've sewn it to specifications. That's a piece of advice for those of you who wish to order from this website. :)
