There is a cakemaker in Belmont, outside of Charlotte...the shop is Brenda's Cake Gallery...she gets great reviews on taste and price, she's done many of my friends cakes.
Her website is under construction, but you can find reviews online.
I'm getting married at the Dairy Barn in April!! We are doing cupcakes and are trying to decide between Harris Teeter which is was more affordable and still good or SAS Cupcakes which is more expensive but has more "fancy" cupcakes. Have you found yours yet?

Just wanted to say as a pro-photographer that Brenda's Cakes is a great choice among many others in the area! Also I have a former bride who is starting her own wedding cake business and actually did her own wedding cake! It was a 3 tier buttercream with large fondant flowers placed all over the cake, with a white and chocolate middle with strawberry jam, it was yummy! If you would like her contact info I would be more than happy to put you in contact with her, she is in the Fort Mill area so very close to where both of you are getting married!

Hi, Charlotte bees! I am getting married at the Dairy Barn in Fort Mill next June and am looking for affordable wedding cakes in Fort Mill or Charlotte. My FH and I have been contemplating cupcakes, too. Anyone know of any CHEAP, quality bakers who could do cupcakes and/or a traditional cake?
