@danifiori: Just saw your post to me in another topic. Sorry for the delay but if you havent found a caterer, check out Simply Gourmet. That is who we are using.
Mike (the owner) is really flexible (and also a personal friend). They do killer hors d'ouvres and you could def do a cocktails & snacks only reception for $40 p/person and it would prob be a lot of food.
If you want to talk more about it, feel free to PM me!
Hey, did you end up booking Locust Grove? I am using Lola's as my caterer. We are also getting our own liquor and eddie was fine with that. We are also hiring the bartender through him. I talked to 4 or 5 caterers and they we definatly the cheapest and most flexible, not to mention highly recomended by everyone who I have talked to! We are just finalizing our menu now. I would love to know who you are using as your other vendors? We are still shopping and interviewing.

Hi Everyone,
we are getting ready to book at Locust Grove - fingers crossed...and are looking for an affordable cater. Any suggestions? We are having about 250 guest and wil be purchasing our own liquor.
Any thougths on the per person cost? Is $40/person doable?
Thanks for the help.
