I had been working with a friend of a friend who volunteered to be my day-of wedding coordinator in January 2011, but she unfortunately had to back out due to pregnancy complications. Would you have any recommendations for a day-of-wedding coordinator in the New York metro area who is somewhat affordable?
The services I’m looking for are pretty straightforward and no-frills. I’ve already drafted my own timeline, contracted my own rentals and vendors and and my caterer is handling most of the operations so there aren’t that many vendors involved. I just need someone to enforce the timeline during the rehearsal and day-of. I’d be grateful for any recommendations – even if they are experienced coordinators who happen to coordinate as a side-job.
Many thanks in advance!

I used Hollie Holmes of Exquisite Affairs Productions, and she was absolutely fabulous. She totally understood my vision of the day, and was great to work with. I’m a totally type A planner, but with her there I didn’t have to worry about a single thing day of. I’d highly reccomend her.

My sister is planning my wedding and does some event planning. PM if you want more info. Since she can’t be in the bridal party, make the cake and be my DOC I’m considering the following person as well. Her name is Liz and I’ve worked with her on my day job and she’s very detail oriented and on task. http://www.feteatelier.com/index2.php?v=v1

I’m using Rebecca Carlo from unruffledbride. She is super organized, has great ideas, comes with an assitant, and is very affordable!!
