Does anyone have any recommendations for affordable hair/makeup folks in DC? ALl the prices I've seen online have been very high, so I'm wondering if anyone has found any less well-known places that will do it for less.

I live in the DC area and got my makeup done at the MAC store at Pentagon City for my e-pics. Honestly, if there was a MAC counter or store anywhere close to where I am getting married in PA, I would have done it again for the wedding day. Can't speak for hair/updos though...

I didn't find anything. I just sucked it up and paid the close to $500 for hair/makeup and trial.

I recommend Bridal Artistry, but it's expensive.

Check out Michael Uriarte at PR Partners at Tysons Corner. He did an amaaaazing job on my hair and everyone raved. i think he'd be willing to negotiate a good price if you mention the name Evie to him. :)
