It is about the time that I need to start seriously thinking about ordering our invitations. I really love the look of letterpress, but the price..not so much.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a reasonably priced vendor to do letterpress invitations and RSVP cards?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I researched this A LOT!!!! I have champagne taste on a beer and wine budget for sure. I dound a great invitation designer and letterpress printer that is both awesome and affordable (for letterpress). Visit Simply Letterpressed’s website and send them a note. Tell Elma that Robin sent you. http://simplyletterpressed.com/

@sweettealove: It’s really expensive, and I only needed less than 40. But I still wanted letterpress for my invites so I’m DIYing them using the L Letterpress. There’s a few bees who’ve done it this way and they look great.

I second the DIY route if you want to go inexpensive. I was just letterpressing the borders for my invitations earlier today. I’m really happy with how well they turned out.
You can get a used L letterpress on ebay for less than 75 (which you can resell after) and custom plates are pretty cheap. If you want more information I would be more than happy to share my tips. I think I found the cheapest place to buy all the different supplies and components. Just pm me for more info if you like!
I attached my save the dates so you could see how they look almost professional even though they are DIY!
