Maybe check out Bubby’s in Brooklyn, I’ve heard they’re affordable. That’s also the off season for a lot of venues, so you might be aable to negotiate. How many people are you having? If it’s not a lot, you might want to look into restaurant receptions.

i’ve read good reviews of wedding at bubby’s, and restaurants can save you money as they include all tables, chairs, dishes, etc. look at the foundry in long island city, and the montauk club in brooklyn. having the wedding in jan/feb should definitely bring the price down a bit.

We looked at Dykers Golf Club in Brooklyn. I think it was $85/person in the winter months. They had a TON of food options for the price. It also includes everthing like tables/chairs/linens/etc. I think it even included a cake. It had a country club feel with a ballroom. Really nice.
