You might want to look into our photographer, Jubilee Photography. (www.jubilee-photography.com) She's in DE, but she travels around the DE/Philly area. I believe her packages start at $1500 for partial day coverage, and she is very willing to work with you to create the best package that works for you. We are going with Pete Lounsbury, website http://www.lounsbury.us/. He is located in DE, but covers weddings in PA. Ours will be in PA near Valley Forge. He's got great prices, around a $1000, and great packages. For us he is also including an engagement shoot, don't know if this is standard. His photos do however seem to be a bit more traditional than photojournalism stye; but still seem to be very beautiful.

Also if you're looking for limited coverage (5-6 hours instead of the standard 8+) you might be able to come up with a custom package with a photographer who normally starts at a higher rate. Just because their website says they start at $3000+ doesn't mean they're not flexible to create a custom package for you that includes fewer bells and whistles. It's worth a shot :)

Look into Cardens Photography. They live more near my area, but they travel all over PA and are from the Philly area so always jump at the chance to do a wedding there as well. Hi Philly Bees,
I am absolutely blown away by the prices I am seeing on photographers' websites. Having great wedding photos is very important to me, but I just don't have $3,000+ to spend on it. We would really like to spend less than $2,000. We don't want an album. We only need five or six hours of coverage, not eight or more.
Does anyone know of a photographer who meets those criteria?
