Just posted a similar thread elsewhere ;)...did you make any progress?? I am just starting the search for caterers as we speak....not boding well thusfar!
I ended up booking Cairnwood for a Friday night which will be a tiny bit cheaper. We're shopping for caterers now... Jimmy Duffy's has given us the most reasonable quote so far (over Jeffery Miller and Feastivities). We plan on doing a cocktail reception. Any questions just PM me.

Hello Philly brides!!!
I'm looking for an affordable venue and caterer package in Philly, and I chose to have my wedding in winter to make it more affordable.
I fell in love with a few venues: Cairnwood, Aldie Mansion and the Baldwin School. All three have rental fees with Cairnwood being the more expensive one, but the addition of the catering fees might make it too expensive. I can't seem to find any pricing on caterers online, but it sounds like it's always $100+/person...
Has anyone have their wedding in one of those venues, and have any suggestions for me??
