Try the Citrus Cafe on Edinger in Tustin. They have a large private dining room for parties and such. I don't think they charge for use of the room, so that could work out really well for you. I have a girl friend that used to waitress there - so yeah, I've eaten their food! They have a good variety of food and the prices are very reasonable.
Not sure what you count as affordable, but if we were getting married in OC, would probably do our dinner at Maggiano's at South Coast. Their pre set menu prices arent too bad and I believe they can block off private dining for you.

Hi Ladies!!
I am in need of a good place for a rehearsal dinner in south orange county. There are approximately 50-55 people who will be attending. I don't need anything fancy, just looking for good food at an affordable price where our loved ones can gather to share a meal before the big day.
If anyone has any ideas or suggestions I would so appreciate the help- I'm stumped!
Thanks!!
