    Does anyone know a good, but affordable calligrapher in the Seattle area?

    thanks for the suggestion -- I saw that link before and was totally impressed with her skills, but I am not crafty and so instead am hoping to find someone affordable so I don't have to see my crappy chicken scrawl on my invitation envelopes :)

    Well, I'm not from Seattle (sorry), but why don't you try Google, or even posting on Craigslist?

    I can't remember which bee is from Seattle, but you could always ask her through a PM if she knows of any.

    Miss Joey is from Seattle... Mrs. Avocado had a Seattle wedding, but planned in Eastern Washington. 

    Don't forget that you can send out your invitations to a calligrapher anywhere in the country, if you find someone affordable further away.

    I was going to try and go the DIY route myself.
