We looked at all different price ranges for my FI’s wedding band (gold, platinum, titanium, etc.) and ended up going with Tungsten because he was just so excited about how it’s the same material drill bits are made with.

We ended up buying his Tungsten wedding band off Amazon for $25 with prime.

I think it depends how sentimental you both are. Because it’s one of the hardest materials, it won’t scratch, but if it drops, it could break.

My fiance wanted two rings.. one to wear to work, and one to wear when not at work. He gets very dirty and works a very hands on physical labor job, so he was really concerned about dropping alot of money on a ring with the risk of it getting jacked up.

The one he bought for work is stainless steel and cost us a whopping $6 :

the one he bought to be his “actual” ring and the one we’ll use for the ceremony is a black tungsten, this ring is REALLY heavy and well made, we paid a little over $20.

I really wanted him to get one that matched mine, but he wasn’t into it.

My husband has a tungsten wedding band. I got a good deal and paid about $75 five years ago. He’s since lost weight and its too big. I found his exact ring on eBay for $12. I took a gamble and bought it. They are identical. There are tons of choices on eBay and I have since bought him several others with great success.

TiffanySanders:  my fiancé went with this type. We were looking at it in Jared for $300 and found the same exact one on amazon for $18. I love it. We will see when he has to wear it all the time. Haha
