Hi I am getting married at the Monte Carlo in a few months and I called the hotel directly and they want to charge about $85 for dress steam cleaning...does anybody out there know of any affordable places in Las Vegas? Thanks so much

You can buy a steamer for much less if you want to do it yourself! If you don't want to mess with it, you may have to deal with high prices (that's a LOT to steam!)

We ended up having to buy a steamer for my best friend and her mom did it in their room. It took FOREVER but saved a ton of money. She ended up returning the steamer after the wedding.

Just a quick note, don't trust DB on their word that they will steam it should you end up going that route. My friend had scheduled having her dress steamed (out of town wedding) and when she arrived at DB they said the lady had gone home for the day and wouldn't be back until AFTER her wedding. She called around to another DB in a nearby town and they said they would do it. We rushed to that location only to find yet again that the lady had left for the day.

Check our Debi with Fit for a Bride. She has gotten rave reviews from brides who use theknot.com. She will pickup/drop off dress. Not sure of her prices, but may be similar to Monte Carlo Prices.

i was going to suggest Debit at Fit for a Bride, but it was $100 for couture gowns and $70 for non-couture...plus she's off the Strip so you either have to have a car to take it there and to pick it up, or ship it to her and pick it up, or pay to have it picked up and dropped off at your hotel on the Strip ($30) so going with Monte Carlo or on your own might be cheaper.

You can call JennaLeigh's bridal on Flamingo. I'm not sure of the price but quite a few hotel chapels recommend them. :)
