@lollygagon:  Are you looking in Southern LA area? Or Southern Florida?  How many people are you planning on attending? What’s your style?

@NatureBride2015:  I think it really depends on how many guests, and what kind of vision you have. Is it solely based on cost? Or do you have things that you definitely want?

Also, what part of Southern Calirfornia? I’m in N. Cal, but know Southern pretty well too

@NatureBride2015:  you may want to check out the venue we are getting married at – rancho Santa Ana gardens in Claremont.. This would be in your price range and all outdoors 🙂

@NatureBride2015:  There’s a place called the Sportman Lodge in Studio City, I had a friend get married there and its nice (and I think affordable). There’s an outdoor courtyard for the ceremony then different rooms for a reception

There’s also a neat place in Malibu, I don’t know if you have to be Jewish to get married heer, but its worth asking http://mjcs.org/event-rentals/

If you want something with nature, but not beach or country club, I think searching North of LA would be better than South

@NatureBride2015:  awh I hope you like it! They do alot for the price – cake, tables, food, centerpeices.. It was the best I could find for an outdoor venue and I searched a ton!

Posting to follow. We’re not planning yet but probably getting married in that area. I hope you find something cheap, beautiful, and stress free!
