Actually, it’s more of a fear! I am terribly afraid my Eiffel Tower vases will fall over. They are 28′ inches tall and beautiful. However, I plan to arrange them with two dozen roses in each vase. With an Open Bar and two very “social families” I feel a vase toppling over is inevitable. Brides or vendors with experience please help as those vases are really all I can afford.

@ChrisBran: Can you add some weight to the bottom with pebbles, gems, fishing weights?
I’ve never seen it happen so maybe you are worrying innecessarily.

If they are in the center and weighed down I do not think you will have to worry. If you put water in the vases that will definitely weight it down. Even if people get rowdy I do not think they are going to be smashing center pieces over.

Try some adhesive on the base to stick it to the table?

If you’re using a mirror or some other base for your centerpiece, stick a little tape or putty underneath the vase onto the mirror. The wide base of the mirror will prevent it from toppling over

How about poster putty or 3m strips on the legs?

I bought these vases too and am concerned about the same thing. I am just going to put a 1-3 stems of calla or some other lily in it though.

I’m using 24″ vases with a flower ball on top. I think I am going to get adhesvie velcro and put one piece on the mirror and the other on the bottom of the vase. Pending that not working I am thinking sticky tac will help or double sided tape.

I basically had the same type of centerpiece, and had no issue at all. I only added a few stones in the vase.
