@wisher558:  Ah, the inevitable meltdown. **hugs** I had one about the guest list but it’s ok now.

I hope it turns out!

@wisher558:  The one thing you can let go of is any worry about anything he wears making your dress look yellow or dingy. It simply doesn’t happen that way. Your dress is ivory and will look ivory.

@wisher558:  I know, it is complete insanity.  I am sorry you had a meltdown……I am certain we all have had at least one while in the planning process.

LOL!!  I love the mini rant….sounds just like something I would do and say.  And feel foolish for it afterwards.  It will be fine, just breathe.

Hugs.  It will work out.

Can I try to make you feel better? I had my first melt down exactly 3 days after getting engaged (!!) when I found out my headcount (in my head) of 250 would cover HIS invite  list…which blew my mind, my budget, &&& my cool was lost about DOUBLE that when he replied “that’s my short list, we’re leaving LOTS of people out… “

I cut LOTS of people out when I refused to invite cousins that won’t speak to me when we meet up in real life. I cut people who my family considers friends because this IS NOT about a gift and when my aunt would tell me that so and so gave her son a gift I about came unglued a 132nd time.

You’re doing AMAZING if this is your first melt down. I am in awe of you. & I’d have lost my cool over not having brown. It’s a color in the smallest box of crayons therefore should be obtainable. I can’t wait to see what WAS next best! Breathe! (or drink with me!)

Trust me, you will quickly learn how to get around mishaps, and about 2 weeks before the wedding…. You won’t even care about a damn thing……and……. The wedding will still be perfect!  🙂

@wisher558:  I completely understand.  LOL!!  It is not ridiculous……I had the very same discussion about colors with my fiance and the bestman.  I just told them,  NO, I WILL GO TO THE TUXEDO STORE AND PICK THE COLORS, you will just give me your measuremants…….He looked at me like I had two heads.  Measurements??  I told him the exact same thing, I have an ivory dress, I don’t want to show up looking like a big banana in a yellow dress because you didnt get the right color.  Ironically mine are going to be wearing a light brown or a latte color vest……I can see them picking gold or something hideous.  Like I said I can see me having the exact same meltdown.

Now we are ALL going to the tuxedo store…….mostly because I don’t want them to screw this up.

I am glad you are feeling better.  Men don’t understand how important this stuff is to us…….especially on our wedding day.
